IRASEC has established a series of ‘studies’, often in partnership with Southeast Asian institutions or researchers, that raise cross-cutting and pluridisciplinary research questions that are at the heart of contemporary mutations in Southeast Asian societies. These studies are:

•   “National Monographs” (i.e. Contemporary Philippines, Contemporary Vietnam, etc.)

•   Historical and Political “Atlases” (Muslims in Southeast Asia, Trafficking, Timor or Southeast Asia)

•   Cross-cutting studies on a specific country, community or research question

The “Southeast Asia: Assessment, Challenges and Perspectives” (L’Asie du Sud-Est. Bilan, enjeux et perspectives) Series presents an analytical synthesis the past year’s major events in each of the Southeast Asian region’s 11 countries, to which are added three dossiers, one debate, and annexes providing various practical tools.
