Inès CUYPERS
Associated Doctoral Candidate
Inès CUYPERS is a PhD student in Geography since 2020 at the IDEES UMR 6266 CNRS laboratory and the University of Rouen - Normandy, under the supervision of Éric DAUDÉ. She is working on the adaptation of populations to the risk of marine submersion in Vietnam. Her subject has the particularity of focusing on small disasters, events of low intensity, destructive but too little to be visible at the scales of governance, thus leaving the affected populations to manage the event alone.
She is currently in Vietnam to carry out her surveys with vulnerable populations and risk management authorities in Can Gio district and some districts of Ca Mau province.
