David DELFOLIE

David Delfolie has a doctorate in sociology (Paris 1), is a researcher at IDHES-CNRS and is associated with IRASEC. He is also a lecturer at Sciences Po Lille, in addition to other teaching activities, and a member of the editorial board of the journal Dynamiques Internationales. His work focuses on the contemporary socio-political history of Malaysia and its current developments. He has completed or is preparing several publications related to this theme, notably on the "sonic politicisation" of the public space, the process of elite renewal, local Islam and the internal political and social effects of the rapprochement with China.
