Yveline LECLER
Yveline Lecler is Professor Emeritus at Sciences Po Lyon, University of Lyon. She holds a PhD in East and South Asian Social Sciences from the EHESS (Paris, 1980) and an HDR in Political Science (University of Lyon, Lyon 2). She was trained in Japanese language at Waseda University (Tokyo) and graduated from INALCO (1975). She was a researcher at the Maison Franco-Japonaise (UMIFRE 19, MAEE, CNRS) from 2008 to 2010, and a professor or visiting researcher at several Japanese universities (Chuo University, University of Tokyo, National Graduate School of Innovation and Policy Studies, Kwansei gakuin University, Kansai University). She is a member of the international network GERPISA and the European network EastAsiaNet. Her work focuses on Japan and to a lesser extent on Thailand. Her research includes the study of SMEs, industrial districts, subcontracting, but also industrial or innovation policies (clusters, technology transfer, incubation) and nowadays environmental and energy policies, in connection with urban issues and especially new mobilities.
