Documentation section

IRASEC’s collection of documents includes approximately 2,950 documents on Southeast Asia. The purchasing policy of books for the documentation section must respect the three following guidelines :

1. Books with an emphasis on contemporary issues, situations and questions in the fields of research developed by IRASEC : political science, economics, sociology, anthropology, contemporary history and geography
2. Publications dealing with the region’s 11 countries
3. Cross-cutting themes related to Southeast Asia that adhere to the academic areas and projects defined by IRASEC

Books and journals can be consulted on site by appointment. A reading station is provided during the Institute’s opening hours.
