Lúcio SOUSA
Lúcio Sousa is a portuguese anthropologist. He taught Portuguese in East Timor between 2000 and 2002. He is currently teaching Anthropology at Universidade Aberta in Lisbon and doing a PhD in Social Anthropology with a thesis on the social organization and ritual practices of the Bunak of East Timor. The field research was made during university holidays in August 2003 and 2004 and from September 2005 to August 2006. The research was supported by grants from Fundação Calouste Gulbenkian and Fundação Oriente.
