Sallie YEA

Dr. Sallie Yea is an Australian Independent Scholar, and Director of IDEALS, a non-governmental, non-profit work and consulting organization dedicated to education and research to counter human trafficking. A former Senior Research Fellow in International Development, School of Social Science and Planning (RMIT University, Melbourne, Australia), she has been researching the trafficking of women and girls for several years, with papers on the subject in Women’s Studies International Forum, in Singapore Journal of Tropical Geography and in International Migration, amongst others. She is currently conducting research on rehabilitation and reintegration of trafficking victims and is focusing on the Philippines and Indonesia.
