François Robinne, directeur de l’IRASEC, a participé, en tant que chercheur invité, à la conférence internationale Ethnicity, Asia-Pacific and French Scholarship qui s’est déroulée à Kuala Lumpur les 23, 24 et 25 april 2014. Le titre de son intervention était « Nation-State versus Ethnic-State in Southeast-Asia ».
Cette conférence est le fruit d’un partenariat entre l’Institut of Ethnic Studies, l’Ambassade de France en Malaisie et le Malaysia France University Centre.

Dr Christine Cabasset (IRASEC Associate Researcher) and Dr Benjamim Corte-Real (INL-University of Timor-Leste) organised an international seminar on "Strengthening Asean and Regional Governance" on 11 December 2013 in Dili.
