Eric Daudé is a CNRS research director at Institute for Research on Contemporary Southeast Asia (IRASEC), a French research center based in Bangkok. Eric Daudé is a health geographer interesting in the complexity linking vector born disesases and socio-environmental dynamics at suburban scales. Multisource and multiform data (satellite images, surveys, crowdsourcing) are used to conduct statistical analyses and calibrate spatial simulation models to explore disease diffusion within cities (Bangkok, Delhi) and test mitigation scenarios. He is the scientific leader of two national projects in the field of risk reduction, the ANR MO3 and ANR ESCAPE projects. In collaboration with faculty of Medicine, Chulalongkorn University, he will participate in 2024 to a major entomological and epidemiological field survey in Bangkok for the MO3 project.
