Antoine Frémont

Antoine Frémont is a Professor at the Conservatoire National des Arts et Métiers (CNAM), where he has held the Chair in “Transport, Flows, and Sustainable Mobility” since March 2022. He has served in several senior roles within higher education and public transport institutions, including the Université Gustave Eiffel, Réseau Ferré de France (now SNCF Réseau), and IFSTTAR. He has also taught at the University of Le Havre.
His research focuses on maritime transport, port systems, and international logistics and supply chains, with a particular emphasis on the challenges posed by globalization and metropolitan development.
Antoine is actively engaged in policy-oriented and professional networks. He serves on the scientific board of the think tank TDIE, the advisory board of the Italian Transport Regulatory Authority, and the advisory board of HAROPA Ports, the major river-sea port hub along the Seine corridor. He is also President of AFITL, the French Association of Transport and Logistics Institutes.
