Abstract
By analyzing the process of Cambodian government governance, this thesis seeks to understand the actual impact of contemporary government policy on economic, social, and environmental development via a well-defined term, sustainable development. This research addresses Cambodian society as such, its relationship to the state, the structure and institutional capacity of the state in public governance, and the consequences of this governance on society. Not to mention sustainable development itself, which is a main objective of this work that strives to dismantle the bad example of the governance model in Cambodia.
