Roland POUPON

Roland Poupon holds a degree in agricultural engineering (ENSIA – Agro Paris Tech) and a Ph.D. in geography (University of Toulouse-Le Mirail). He has lived in Southeast Asia for over twenty years. After serving as the first expatriate in Asia for a major French retail group, he is now an international consultant in the agriculture and food sectors. He also heads a group of service companies in this sector (consulting, brokerage, trading, and food services) with operations in China, Thailand, Vietnam, India, and France. At the same time, he continues to work as an independent researcher focused on agribusiness. Thai agriculture often serves as the basis for his analysis.
