Conference
Continuation of the conference cycle "Time, Space, Memory" organised by IRASEC in partnership with the Institut Français du Cambodge. The presentation of social science researchers' work to a wide audience has been very successful.
The fourth conference of the cycle took place on 12 September 2017 in Phnom Penh. Fabienne Luco, an anthropologist associated with the Southeast Asia Centre, presented her research on "Legends and Guardian Geniuses in Angkor" (translated simultaneously into Khmer and English).
The event was packed with 140 listeners, including Cambodia's Minister of Culture. An innovation: the Institut Français du Cambodge broadcast live the video of the conference. 600 people were able to watch it live.
