“Tourism and Environmental risks in Southeast Asia:
New Ways for Tourism Planning?”

Responding to an invitation by the Tourism and Culture Masters’ program of Udayana University, Christine Cabasset gave a paper entitled “Tourism and Environmental risks in Southeast Asia: New Ways for Tourism Planning?”.

 

Dr I Gusti Ayu Oka Suryawardani, director of the Tourism and Culture Masters’ program of Udayana University, and Dr Agung Suryawan Wiranatha, director of the Centre for Excellence and Research on Tourism of UNUD, invited Christine Cabasset to give a paper on “Tourism and Environmental risks in Southeast Asia: New Ways for Tourism Planning?”. This paper was given to both masters’ students and doctoral candidates, and was also attended by Dr Darma Putra, the previeus director of the Masters’ program. This paper is part of a larger cooperative 3 year research project (2016-2019), led by IRASEC, UNUD, AIT and UNTL, on ‘‘Costal Governance in the Context of Rapid Tourist Urbanisation and Climate Change in South East Asia’’.
