Lauréats de la campagne de bourses 2023

IRASEC Scholarship

Each year, IRASEC awards two fellowships to support field research. These scholarships are intended for doctoral students from France or abroad (registered in a French university) pursuing research on contemporary Southeast Asia. They are intended to conduct field studies on the theme of the doctorate, to deepen research already undertaken in thesis or to start a new post-doctoral field.

Candidates selected for the IRASEC scholarship campaign in 2023, are :

• Chloé BAILLS, PhD student in political and religieus anthropology (École Pratique des Hautes Études, GSRL/UMR8582 ; CASE/UMR8170) : “Les yadeya du coup d’État. Ethnographie sensible d’un rituel de pouvoir et de résistance en Birmanie contemporaine”.
• Léo KYRIACOPOULOS, PhD student in anthropology (École des Hautes Études en Sciences Sociales, CASE/UMR8170) : “Entrepreneuriat Social au Viêt Nam : Une analyse anthropologique de la culture de l’entreprise dans la conception du développement”.
