Abstract
Our research examines the training course for the profession of French-speaking translator and interpreter in Vietnam. We are currently involving to the evolution of the relationship between employment and training course in the field. The diversity of the offers and the job market development of the translation activity intensify the need for training in these skills. And we know that the socio-professional status of this activity remains ambiguous. It is in this context that the question of professionalization by work-study programs arises, a question that is still new in Vietnam. In this research, we choose to focus on the tutorial function in the workplace, one of the key parameters of the learning process in the workplace situation. The tutoring, whose specific activity is not really formalized and not really recognized, takes place in a variety of professional settings. The tutoring can be collective or individual, provided in companies or organizations, by professionals whose main job is not translator-interpreter, or by freelancers. This diversity of tutorial situations brings into play different tutor profiles, tutorial practices and learning, but which still allow us to identify their invariants. As research results, we identified five tutorial configurations crossed by three types of tension that define the dependency relationships within these configurations.
