The Feminization of Employment through Export-Led Strategies: Evidence from Viet Nam
Book
TRAN Thi Anh-Dao contributed to the latest special issue of the Revue de la régulation entitled "Deploying gender studies in political economy".
This special issue explores an area that has remained "invisible" to economics: the role of gender in the economic organization of companies and in the discipline’s organization. It is paradoxical: there has been a continuous scientific literature on gender since the beginning of political economy, yet its development remains limited. Is this because these questions are marginal in economics? Or because they upset the academic and the economic fields?
Some may say productivity and comparative advantage are gender-neutral, others may contest it, and not only women.
