As part of the conference “The Future of Sustainability in ASEAN : Agriculture Act”, Gabriel Facal will give a talk entitled “Alternative agrarian experiences in Southeast Asia : questioning scales”. The event is organized as part of the “ASEAN-China norms II” network (following on from IRN ASEAN-China norms I).

Painting under glass was widely practised in Indonesia between the end of the 19th century and the 1970s. It was so successful that almost all Javanese iconography was reproduced on this medium. However, as works on other media (paper, wood, leather) have survived less well over time, reverse glass paintings give us access to a range of images that would be hard to find elsewhere.

Éric Daudé attended the Asia Pacific Conference on Mosquito and Vector Control held in Chiang Mai from November 27 to 30, 2023. Organized by Kasetsart University, the conference brought together over 300 mosquito and vector control specialists from all over Southeast Asia, Europe and the United States. Éric Daudé presented part of his work on the ANR MO3 project, which focused on the characterization of environmental risk in relation to the population dynamics of dengue mosquito vectors in Bangkok.
