Abigaël Pesses and Stéphane Rennesson (IRASEC-CNRS) opened the lecture series of the academic seminar with a session introducing the work of the French anthropologist Philippe Descola and how it can be adapted to analyse the diversity of Southeast Asian ethnographic materials.
