Cette section spéciale est issue du programme de collaboration "Intersecting Mobilities" : L’Asie du Sud-Est du point de vue de la mobilité religieuse", qui a réuni des chercheurs de l’Institut de recherche sur l’Asie (ARI, Université nationale de Singapour), de l’Institut de recherche sur l’Asie du Sud-Est contemporaine (IRASEC) et de l’Université de Paris/Inalco, ainsi que plusieurs autres personnes qui ont participé activement à une série de trois ateliers organisés à Penang, Chiang-Mai et Nagasaki. Les essais présentés ici sont issus du premier atelier sur les réseaux chrétiens qui s’est tenu à Penang en décembre 2017.
