Experience

Olivier is a health geographer at Centre National de la Recherche Française (CNRS). His research aims to better understand how environmental and socio-spatial dynamics of cities are connected to infectious and zoonotic diseases rise in South and SouthEast Asia (Singapore, Delhi, Vientiane, Bangkok). By integrating environmental, socio-economic, and governance disparities, the global aim of his research is to reduce disease diffusion within cities. He is particularly interested in reconnecting sanitation with urban health. In Thailand, Olivier is associated with the Deep Health laboratory at Kasetsart University.
